Gads do I love that song. Love, love. Something about it (and his Hollywood Nights) always reminds me of being a kid and going back to school, that balmy feeling of nighttime in the summer slowly fading to the dry heat and winds of fall. I feel it in my skin, even to this day, even though I don't notice things like that anymore. Probably because I'm not driving around at midnight trying to find secluded places to kiss my boyfriend. Ahhhh the memories!I woke last night to the sound of thunder
How far off I sat and wondered
Started humming a song from 1962
Ain't it funny how the night moves
When you just don't seem to have as much to lose
Strange how the night moves
With autumn closing inNight Moves by Bob Seger
Hi everyone! Hi, hi hi!!! I know it's been a while, I've just been so lazy lately. Well, maybe lazy isn't the right word, but it's certainly how I've felt when I've been laying around these past couple of months. Perhaps I should say that I've felt lazy, and haven't been lazy. I'm growing a new human after all. Yes, just about 15 weeks along and I finally feel like I'm not going to vom every time I smell anything. Hooray!!
I hope to be making something soon. There has been very, very limited sewing with the move and early pregnancy, but I'm hoping to get back on the wagon this week. I have to sew some clothes! Nothing fits anymore!
For those of you in the Orange, CA area, I am teaching a Sewing 101 class through the city. Click here to register.
xoxo,
